Research Focus
My research interests are in various aspects of micro- and nanoscale bioengineering, including biosensors, point-of-care diagnostics, organ-on-a-chip and organoid systems, and biomimetics. Since the establishment of the Research Center for Translational Medical Devices at NYU Abu Dhabi, my research interests have expanded to encompass large-scale medical devices and systems, including organ perfusion systems and implants.
